A word from the owner

I found my love of baking in the kitchen with my grandmas while growing up. When I had my first child I fell in love with it all over again. My passion was baking the best treats for their play dates and parties. I loved the fact that everyone smiled when they saw or tasted what I made. I think that is where my drive really started.

After being a stay at home mom for 10 years I was peering into my future of kids at school all day and wondered what I would do? With a very nervous stomach I decided to take a leap and look into opening a cake & cupcake shop. I spent 9 long months educating myself on everything from marketing plans to electric and plumbing work for commercial kitchens. Once I completed my business plan I took the jump and opened a little bakery in my hometown of Lake Dallas. A few months later I was invited to join all of the other cupcake shops in the state for the bake off competition in which the winner would be crowned “the best cupcake in Texas”.

After I won that my business began to grow in such a fast way that I had to make the difficult decision to leave the cake world behind and focus on cupcakes. Fast forward 4 years and I am opening the 4th shop this year. It’s been a fun, crazy ride and I have loved every minute of it. I look forward everyday to coming up with new recipes and flavor combinations. And I still love getting up for work each and every day!
